We studied images with the following features:

• The patient diagnosed with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI)

• The patient’s sex and date of birth

• Mini-mental state exam (MMSE) total score, and exam date

• Clinical dementia rating sum of boxes (CDR-SB), and exam date

• T1-weighted brain MRI scan

  • Non-contrast

  • Field strength 1.5T or 3T

  • Resolution up to 1.31 mm acceptable, 1 mm preferred

  • Good GM-WM (gray/white matter) differentiation, no major mass lesion

  • No major image artifacts such as distortion, motion, susceptibility, or aliasing

• Availability of clinical follow-up confirming either:

• Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s dementia in any future follow-up visit but no later than 5 years from the time of the MRI scan. Or,

• The patient remained non-demented for at least 5 years after the MRI scan

We also worked with a dataset of 210 patients which were not yet documented. MR coding, APOE genotype, and homocysteine are also available.
In addition to that a dementia dataset of 530 patients, all of whom were evaluated in at least 3 visits.
In total 2000 patients with various dementia diagnoses (mostly Alzheimer's disease) have their first or second visit.
